Irina Getmanskaya. (b. 1939)

  Irina Getmanskaya (Sysoeva) was born on January 6, 1939 in Leningrad. In 1964 she graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts named after I. Repin, the studio of Victor Oreshnikov. She was engaged at Alexander Debleur, Boris Ugarov, Victor Reikhet, Vitaly Valtsev, Vladislav Anisovich. Participated in exhibitions since 1965. Member of the Leningrad Union of ArtistsH since 1975. In 1967-1975 Getmanskaya taught at the Leningrad Higher School of Industrial Art named after Vera Mukhina. Hetmanskaya paintes portraits, still-lifes, landscapes, genre paintings. The works of Irina Getmanskaya are in museums and private collections in Russia, Great Britain, Finland and other countries.
