Zlata Byzova (b. 1927)

 Zlata Byzova was born on March 27, 1927 in Leningrad. In 1957 she graduated from the Painting department of the Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad, the workshop of Boris Ioganson. She was a student of Peter Belousov, Leonid Khudyakov, Vasily Sokolov, Alexander Zaitsev. She has participated in exhibitions since 1957. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists  since 1960. She writes portraits, landscapes, still-lifes, genre paintings. The works of Zlata Byzova are in museums and private collections in Russia, France, Germany and other countries.
