Vsevolod Bazhenov was born in 1909 in Serdobsk near Saratov. In 1928-1930 he studied at the Tavricheskaya Art School, where he was a student of Mikhail Avilov, David Kiplyck, and Vladimir Fedorovich. In 1942 he was drafted into the army and demobilized in late 1945. He was awarded the medal "For victory over Germany". Participated in exhibitions since 1951. Member of the the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1951. He painted landscapes and seascapes, thematic compositions, etudes from nature. Personal exhibitions in Leningrad were in 1963, 1982 and in Petersburg in 1994. Vsevolod Bazhenov's works are in museums and private collections in Russia, Japan, Finland, the USA and other countries.
