Victor Teterin was born on October 25, 1922 in the village of Bakharevo, Tver region. In 1949, Victor Teterin graduated from the Repin Institute in the workshop of Mikhail Avilov. He studied with Semen Abugov, Henry Pavlovsky, Gleb Savinov, Alexander Osmerkin. He has participated in exhibitions since 1949. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1953. He painted portraits, landscapes, still-lifes, genre compositions. He worked in the technique of watercolor and oil painting. He taught at the Leningrad Art Museum named after V.I. Mukhina (1949-1956). Personal exhibitions in Leningrad (1966) and Petersburg (1999). His works are in the State Russian Museum, the State Tretyakov Gallery, in museums and private collections in Russia, France, Italy and other countries.
