Vladimir Sakson (1927 - 1988)

   Vladimir Sakson was born on May 17, 1927 in Leningrad. In 1954 he graduated from the Institute of Fine Arts named after I.E. Repin (Mikhail Bobyshov's workshop). Was engaged at Alexander Debler, Yuri Neprintsev, Mikhail Platunov, Alexander Segal. Participant exhibitions from 1957. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1960. He painted portraits, landscapes, genre and decorative compositions, sketches of costumes and scenery for theatrical productions, illustrated books. Personal exhibition in St. Petersburg (2007). The works of Vladimir Sakson are in museums and private collections in Russia, Japan, France, Germany, Italy and other countries.
