Eugeny Pozdnyakov (1923 - 1991)

  Eugeny Pozdnyakov was born on July 9, 1923 in Petrograd. He was a veteran of World War II, participated in the defense of the Leningrad. Evgeny Pozdniakov was wounded, he had a military orders. In 1955 he graduated from the Leningrad Municipal School named after V. I. Mukhina, the workshop of Alexander Kazantsev. He was studied with Ivan Stepashkin, Gleb Savinov, Peter Buchkin. Participation in exhibitions since 1955. Member of the Leningrad Union of Artists since 1985. He painted landscapes, still lifes, genre and thematic compositions. The works of Eugeny Pozdnyakov are in museums and private collections in Russia, Germany, the USA and other countries.
