Anna Kostrova was born on November 22, 1909 in the village of Bialystok, Omsk province. In 1928, Anna Kostrova graduated from Omsk Art and Industrial College. Participated in exhibitions since 1934. Member of Leningrad Union of Artists  since 1940. She was a wife of the artist Nikolai Kostrov. She painted portraits, landscapes, still-lifes, illustrated books. Personal exhibitions in Leningrad (1973,1977,1979), Moscow (1974,1983). The works of Anna Kostrova are in museums and private collections in Russia, Germany, Finland and other countries.
